LONGi provides 134MW Hi-MO 5 modules to Bangladesh solar power plant: In an announcement, Chinese vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi said that it will supply 134MW high-efficiency Hi-MO 5 modules to Orion Group for its project in Khulna, Bangladesh. LONGi's Hi-MO 5 series has been chosen, given its high efficiency and anti-PID technologies to minimize land usage and safe guard the smooth running of the plant with highest yields possible, it said. In September 2020, LONGi had supplied too Orion 28,720 high efficiency solar modules for a 11.7 MW capacity solar power plant in Chile (see China PV News Snippets: Clenergy, Trina, LONGi, Huarong)

Beyondsun To Supply 1.2 GW PV Modules To RODINA: Zhejiang Beyondsun Green Energy Technology announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with Ukraine's new energy project EPC contractor Rodina Energy Group to supply 1.2 GW PV modules. As per the agreement, Beyondsun will provide no less than 1.2 GW of PV modules to Rodina's several global projects in the next 2 years. Eyeing its international markets, Rodina Energy Group had recently announced securing a large volume of Chinese solar modules from Seraphim and trackers from Arctech with a combined capacity of 2 GW at the recently concluded SNEC 2021 (see Rodina Signs 2 GW Module & Trackers Deal).

JinkoSolar & SGCC ink Ethiopia off-grid PV Project investment deal: Module supplier JinkoSolar supplied 1 MW of high-efficiency PV modules for SGCC China Electric Power Equipment and Technology (CET) off-grid PV pilot project in Ethiopia. As a demonstration project of the World Bank's Lighting Africa program, this project has important strategic significance and demonstration effect. The project includes the design, supply, civil construction, installation and commissioning of the PV power stations in four villages and towns, as well as the operation and maintenance work for six months.
