Phono Solar signs 100 MW module supply agreement with Aldo Solar: Chinese module manufacturer Phono Solar announced that it has signed a 100 MW PV module supply agreement with Brazilian distributor Aldo Solar. Phono Solar will supply its TwinPlus Series which utilizes 166 mm and 182 mm size wafers and multi-busbar technology.

China Power & Xianning partner to build 10 GW energy base: Xianning City in Hubei Province has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China General Nuclear Power (CGN), wherein both the parties will join hands to build a clean energy base of 10 GW, as per a Photovoltaic Network News report. The areas where CGN will invest are wind power, photovoltaic, pumped storage, and energy storage. Last year, CGN had said that power generation of the company and its subsidiaries on a consolidated basis amounted to 1,221 GWh for the month of December 2020 (see China PV News Snippets: Risen, CGN, JYT)

Sungrow & Inner Mongolia get into partnership: Signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in Beijing,  world leading solar PV inverter supplier Sungrow said that it will start with new energy technology innovation and industrial applications. The company will also invest in the establishment of what it calls modern energy research institutions in Inner Mongolia, participate in its modern energy development plan, and create a number of photovoltaic, wind power, energy storage, and hydrogen production demonstration projects. Recently, Sungrow had launched its 32 5kW power output inverter, calling it the world's most powerful string inverter, that's also compatible with large sized solar modules with 182mm and 210mm size (see Sungrow Launches 325kW Solar String Inverter)

Seraphim & China General sign cooperation agreement: Solar module manufacturer Seraphim and China General Nuclear Power New Energy Anhui Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power) have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement and will focus on the development of 620 MW of new energy projects in Anhui Province, giving full play to their respective advantages. Recently, Seraphim Solar had made an announcement that the company and Menlo Electric have signed module distribution agreements for over 100 MW of planned shipments in 2021 (see China PV News Snippets: Seraphim, Suntech, Baotou Meike)
