Risen to build high-efficiency cell and module production line in Jiangsu: Chinese solar PV module producer Risen Energy Co., Ltd. announced it has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with the People's Government of Jintan District, Changzhou City to build a production line for new-type high-efficiency photovoltaic cells and modules with an annual output of more than 4 GW and 6 GW respectively. The total investment will be RMB 5.28 billion ($0.81 billion).

CGN Dec 2020 consolidated power generation at 1,221 GWh: In its Trading Update Power Generation announcement, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) said that the power generation of the company and its subsidiaries on a consolidated basis amounted to 1,221 GWh for the month of December 2020, representing an increase of 4.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2019. The power generation of power generation of PRC solar projects increased most by 67.3%; PRC wind projects increased by 59.5%; power generation of PRC coal-fired, cogen and gas-fired projects decreased by 67.3%; power generation of PRC hydro projects decreased by 38.1%; and power generation of Korea gas-fired projects decreased by 8.1%.

The accumulated power generation of the Group for the 12 months ended 31 December 2020 amounted to 13.8 TWh. This marked an increase of 2.1% compared with the corresponding period of 2019. The power generation of power generation of PRC solar projects increased by 64.4%; PRC wind projects increased by 46.4%; power generation of PRC coal-fired, cogen and gas-fired projects decreased by 75.1%; power generation of PRC hydro projects decreased by 5.5%; and power generation of Korea gas-fired projects decreased by 4.4%.

JYT 's cumulative PV installed capacity touch 1.25 GW: JYT Corporation released the operating data of new energy power stations for the entire year of 2020. In the fourth quarter, the company added about 310 MW of PV and wind power capacity, increasing total installed capacity by year end to 1,699.93 MW, of which PV accounted for 1.25 GW.
