Trina's Vertex PV module applied to 1 MW PVrooftop project in India: A project located on the rooftop of a factory in Coimbatore, India, with a project size of 1 MW has used Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar's Vertex DE18M 510W+ distributed modules. The project is now officially connected to the grid. Trina Solar's Vertex distributed modules have surpassed 4 GW in global orders, and the 210 mm Vertex modules for commercial, industrial and residential rooftop scenarios have been favored by overseas distributors and customers. Three Gorges, Qidong & Linyang sign cooperation agreement: Electricity meter company Linyang Energy announced that the company, Chinese state-owned power company Three Gorges, and the People's Government of Qidong City in Jiangsu Province have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Now, all the three parties will use Qidong City as the center and promote the development of distributed clean energy, BIPV, energy storage systems, charging stations, integrated energy, micro grids, data centers, charging piles and the like. The plan is to invest no less than 2 GW distributed energy and supporting energy storage projects, and jointly establish a platform company in Qidong City with investments, construction and operation in the field of new energy as its main business.
Wenzhou acquires 51% equity in Synwell: Wenzhou Yihua issued an announcement stating that the company has acquired 51% of Synwell for RMB 5.1 million ($0.79 million). The Chinese company, mainly engaged in communication-based connects but also in solar mounting systems, has also planned to increase capital in the same proportion with other shareholders of Synwell with its own capital of RMB 22.95 million ($3.55 million). Now, Synwell registered capital will increase from RMB 5 million ($0.77 million) to RMB 50 million ($7.73 million). Wenzhou Yihua felt that Synwell has rich experience in R&D of solar tracking mounting systems, which is highly compatible with its own products.
Chint Wenzhou 550 MW PV complementary project connected to grid: Chint Solar's Wenzhou Taihan 550MW complementary PV project, which started construction in early March 2021, has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation. Once the project is completed, it is expected to generate an average of 650 million kWh of electricity per year.
