Yingli Solar module facility put into production: Solar PV enterprise Yingli Solar said over WeChat that its 3.9 GW facility, which is the second phase of Yingli Solar Lixian Park, has been put into production. With an investment of RMB 1 billion ($0.14 billion) and spread across 300 mu, the facility's annual output value is expected to touch RMB 10 billion ($1.4 billion) on completion. Leadmicro and Guokang Energy partner for TOPCon cell equipment: Chinese solar cell equipment producer Jiangsu Leadmicro Nano-Technology announced that it will be selling TOPCon cell equipment to new energy technology research and development company Guokang New Energy. The sales deed is for about RMB 441 million ($61.5 million) (tax included) and will include equipment like ALD, PEALD, PECVD, tubular oxidation annealing furnace, tubular diffusion furnace, and the like. The first equipment delivery will happen by 30 June 2023, following which other deliveries will happen as decided by both the companies. Meanwhile, at the TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on High Efficiency Solar Technologies 2022 – TOPCon, HJT and Beyond, Today & Tomorrow, Leadmicro's Chief Scientist, Prof. Boachen Liao represented the equipment production side at the event. He batted for PEALD efficiency claiming it to be slightly higher compared to PECVD deposition technology for applying tunnelling oxide of TOPCon process flow. RoboTechnik joins hand with Canadian Solar: High-end automation equipment manufacturer RoboTechnik announced that it has signed a deal for daily operations with Canada headquartered solar company, Canadian Solar. This deal is for about RMB 153 million ($21.3 billion) (tax included) for 12 months. KSTAR to provide inverters to C&D Clean Energy: Solar inverter and energy storage system company KSTAR said via WeChat that the company and renewable energy supply chain service provider C&D Clean Energy have inked an exclusive agreement to use KSTAR brand photovoltaic inverters, household and industrial and commercial energy storage systems in the Turkey market.
Hongjingtian Energy to build 14 GW module facility in Zhuhai: Photovoltaic green energy company Hongjingtian Energy Technology announced through WeChat that it will be investing RMB 8.8 billion ($1.23 billion) to build a 14 GW photovoltaic module facility. Located in Jinwan district of Zhuhai, the facility is expected to have an output value of RMB 20 billion ($2.79) on completion.
