The Danish Energy Agency (Energystyrelsen) has invited feedback on its draft conditions for the country's second technology neutral tender for wind turbines and solar PV technology that it plans to launch post summer holidays in 2019.
The first tech-neutral tender concluded in December 2018 when it awarded 165 MW to wind and 104 MW to solar power with an average tariff premium of DKK 0.0228 ($0.35) per kWh. Tariffs were capped at DKK 0.13 ($0.020) per kWh (see 104 MW PV Awarded In Danish Tech-Neutral Auction).
For the second face-off between wind and solar power technology, the agency hasn't specified how much capacity it plans to offer but states DKK 0.13 ($0.019) per kWh as the benchmark tariff.
Comments and suggestions to the draft tender conditions can be sent in latest by June 19, 2019. Details about the same are published on the website of the agency.
