R.Power Signs Up Nomad Electric & Onde For Polish Pipeline… & More

R.Power signs solar contracts in Poland: R.Power has signed on Nomad Electric and Onde to implement its solar power projects in Poland. While Nomad Electric will install and commission 72 projects for R.Power, Onde is on board to bring online 63 projects. Onde will commission the facilities by H2/2023. R.Power has specified contract does not cover supply of PV modules and inverters. In November 2021, the company acquired Polish solar module distributor Menlo Electric (see R.Power To Takes Over Menlo Electric).

Ellomay gets refinancing for Talasol: Ellomay Capital Ltd. has secured a refinancing arrangement for the special purpose vehicle (SPV) Talasol Solar S.L. for 300 MW Talasol Solar Project in Spain's Talavan, Caceres. The facilities agreement has been reached with European institutional lenders for €175 million will be used by the SPV to replay the current outstanding project finance debt that amounts to €121 million. Another €6.9 million will be deposited in Talasol's account as a debt service fund and €10 million as security for a letter of credit to the PPA provider. Financial closure on the new financing is expected in the coming weeks.

Solar power from 300 MW for denizens of Anklam: German solar developer Anumar GmbH and utility Energie Vorpommern have signed on a cooperation agreement to offer citizens of Hanseatic city of Anklam in Germany power from 300 MW solar power park. Anumar is developing the 300 MW project in Anklam which is current seeking requisite approvals (see Green Light For 300 MW Solar Park In Germany). Anumar's Managing Director Andreas Klier said, "A community electricity tariff is part of our overall concept for the solar park." Energie Vorpommern's Managing Director Udo Arndt added that the regional green electricity tariff will be very attractively priced. Anumar said it is open to expand the cooperation to other regions as it has around 250 MW solar capacity in the approval process in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
