LEAD’s coating equipment for 100 MW perovskite production line

New energy manufacturing equipment maker LEAD has supplied the coating equipment for a leading Chinese solar manufacturer’s 100 MW perovskite production line. Dubbed one of the first 100 MW pilot lines for perovskite PV cells in the country, LEAD has provided its large-width perovskite flat coating equipment that has a coating width of 1,200 mm to this production line. LEAD says the equipment features many in-house technologies such as ‘ a gantry dual-drive motion system, air vibration isolation system, and high-precision feeding system.’ The company says the equipment can achieve rapid coating while ensuring the uniformity of large-area coating, and provide a full-range platform vibration isolation environment to ensure the stability of the coating process. The company claims a coating speed of over 50 mm/s with this equipment.

Earlier this month, LEAD was one of a set of companies that established the Sichuan Tongwei Crystalline Photovoltaic Industry Innovation Co., Ltd. (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
