RenewSys India has inaugurated its new 3 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility at IndoSpace Industrial Park in Khalapur near Mumbai
The factory, spread across 7 lakh sq. ft., produces TOPCon solar PV modules
The AI-powered plant features advanced quality control with real-time digital monitoring and has scope for future expansion, said RenewSys
RenewSys India, the vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer in India, has commissioned a 3 GW fully automated solar PV module manufacturing factory at Khopoli in Maharashtra. It will produce TOPCon PV modules.
Located at IndoSpace Industrial Park in Khalapur region, the module fab is AI-powered and is spread over 7 lakh sq. ft. It incorporates advanced quality control with real-time digital monitoring. It can also be expanded in the future.
The management said the location enjoys strong multimodal connectivity as it is located near Mumbai. This enables faster access for its modules to domestic and international markets.

This facility enhances our ability to deliver high-performance solar solutions at scale while maintaining our focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability,” said Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, RenewSys India.
The renewable energy arm of the ENPEE Group, RenewSys says this expands its total solar PV module production capacity to 5.6 GW. It is also installing a 4.5 GW solar cell line in Hyderabad and is on track for 24 GW encapsulant capacity by FY 2026-27.
