InnoLas hires VP from Manz

InnoLas Solutions GmbH, a leading German laser equipment company for micro material processing and laser engineering, has appointed Antonio Schmidt as its Vice President of Business Development.

Schmidt comes to InnoLas from German CIGS thin-film equipment maker Manz, where he was Vice President Sales & Marketing with responsibilities for worldwide sales activities, including batteries, displays and electronics. Prior to that, he held different positions in the optical disc equipment industry. Schmidt has worked for over 20 years in the high tech equipment industry, establishing worldwide sales and services for new industries and emerging markets.

Based in Krailing, Bavaria, InnoLas Solutions produces tailor-made laser systems for micro material processing, particularly for the semiconductors, electronics and photovoltaic industry. The German company designs and manufactures machinery solutions for stand-alone systems or inline integration.
