Sweden based thin film solar PV equipment and cell manufacturer Midsummer AB has hired Åsa Jynnesjö as the company's new chief financial officer (CFO), a position which co-founder Eric Jaremalm has been holding along with being vice president to handle the brand's international expansion (see Midsummer Looking To Hire New CFO).

Jynnesjö comes to Midsummer from electronic logbook and fleet management company Automile AB where she was also the CFO and before that with Nordenta. She previously also worked with PwC as an accountant. The CFO is set to report at work before September 20, 2022.

Midsummer's CEO Sven Lindström said, "Åsa is a welcome addition to the organization. With her background and experience from fast-growing companies, she will add valuable expertise to grow our finance function in step with our international expansion."

The company is expanding to Italy with a new fab to increase its overall manufacturing capacity 10-fold (see Midsummer Gets Italian Support For Solar Fab).

In May 2022, Midsummer hired Erik Olsson as its business development manager and Anna-Lena Schmidt as the new HR manager (see New Appointments At Sweden's Midsummer).
