A pan European solar development platform with a mandate to install over 2 GW new solar PV capacity, recently launched by the European Union (EU) backed Marguerite fund, has appointed former senior executives with ReneSola, Josef Kastner and Chloe Durieux as its leadership team.
Kastner worked with ReneSola Europe as its CEO for over 8 years looking after the company's business development here along with its acquisition activities. He previously also worked as the CEO Agewind with EQOS Energie Österreich GmbH, developing solar and wind power plants in Poland.
Among other employments, he headed the renewable energy business unit of Alpine Green Energia for over 10 years.
Regarding his new assignment with Marguerite, Kastner said, "We are excited to launch this initiative with the financial and strategic support from Marguerite and to demonstrate our commitment to developing high-quality projects that will positively impact the communities."
His colleague from ReneSola, Chloe Durieux who worked as the company's director looking after French and Spanish markets has joined Marguerite's new solar platform as its chief development officer.
