Array Technologies has announced a senior leadership movement with the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kurt Wood will take over the position from the company's outgoing CFO Nipul Patel.
Wood joins Array from Brunswick Corporation where he served as an advisor since April 2022. His work experience includes work with various brands in senior positions in the finance function including Berkeley Lights, Micron Technology, among others.
At one point, he was also the VP of financial planning and analysis at First Solar.
Having joined the company almost 5 years ago in 2019, Patel will stay on as the CFO till Wood reports to work on November 13, 2023. Thereafter, Patel will stay on in an advisory role till he exits the company at the end of 2023. According to Patel's LinkedIn bio, he has been an advisor to SOLARCYCLE for the last 11 months.
Welcoming Wood on board, Array CEO Kevin Hostetler said, "I am also extremely excited to welcome Kurt on board. He has a demonstrated history of financial leadership across companies of many sizes that will be critical as we continue to build upon the foundation Nipul began. Further, his background in business and corporate development will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth."
Wood's appointment follows that of Aaron Gabelnick in August 2023 as the tracker maker's chief strategy and technology officer (see US Tracker Maker Gets New Technology Lead).
