Senior Level Appointments For SolaREIT’s Leadership Team

Maryland, US based solar asset manager SolaReit has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (CEO) in the form of Laura Klein. The other appointment is the company's Senior Vice President of Business Development, Jeff Gorman.

Klein comes with a deep experience in the solar industry, having previously worked with KL Solar Development, Eagle Solar Group, SunEdison, Duke Energy and World Bank in various roles. Before joining SolaREIT, Klein founded Oriole Solar as a consultant to solar asset owners for origination, development and M&A in the Southeast US.

Gorman was till now a director on the business development team of AES looking after commercial distributed generation and utility scale solar and solar+storage generation projects. He started out his career in the solar industry working with SunEdison.

SolaReit invests in acquiring, developing and managing solar assets, and is now actively looking to partner with project owners, solar developers and landowners to provide innovative financing options for land purchases and solar lease buy-outs. It claims to be offering solutions to developers and project owners lower their lease costs.

"SolaREIT is expanding financing choices that will help the solar industry continue to grow and thrive— providing farmers and landowners with more options for their land, and developers and project owners innovative structures to reduce their lease payments."
