US Tracker Maker Gets New Technology Lead

  • Array Technologies has announced the appointment of a Chief Strategy and Technology Officer  
  • Aaron Gabelnick will be responsible for identifying strategic growth platforms for the group  
  • He will also promote technological advancements for the company and define overall corporate strategy

US based global solar tracker supplier Array Technologies has appointed Aaron Gabelnick as the company's new chief strategy and technology officer to help identify strategic growth platforms for the company.  

Array says Gabelnick, in his new position, will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating and prioritizing new strategic growth platforms to expand the company's footprint in complementary markets.  

He will also be tasked with defining the group's overall corporate strategy including mergers and acquisitions, promoting technological advancements and prioritizing its capital investments.   

"Aaron's global business and strategic consulting expertise, coupled with a deeply rooted technical foundation, will play a vital role in the ongoing evolution of Array as we look to continue expanding our business globally," said Array CEO Kevin Hostetler.  

Before joining Array, Gabelnick worked as the vice president and chief strategy officer for Honeywell's Performance Materials and Technology Business. He was also employed with Saudi Aramco as the head of its downstream strategy. His overall experience spans chemicals, industrials, sustainability, and oil and gas industries.   

Having joined the company on August 7, 2023, Gabelnick will report directly to CEO Hostetler. 

In January this year, Array announced Neil Manning as its COO who also came from the oil and gas industry (see New Chief Operations Officer For Array Technologies).  

Array recently reported its Q2/2023 financials, delivering 21% annual revenue growth and net income of $52 million (see Strong Q2/2023 Financial Results For Array).
