Spanish solar PV developer and financier X-Elio has created a new position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the group – it appointed Mirko Molinari for this job. Molinari comes to X-Elio from General Electric where he worked for 15 years.
As part of General Electric, he was most recently involved in the creation of a battery energy storage business as its global commercial executive. Molinari worked on various positions in the same organization looking after the company's business in Europe and South America.
This experience should come in handy for X-Elio that has created this CCO position with a view to 'reshape' the company's commercial strategy, towards enhancing its customer solutions, and expanding into new geographies and technologies as energy storage and green hydrogen in all the countries where it operates.
"The sector is growing and evolving quickly with new actors and segments becoming more and more relevant. X-Elio's outstanding legacy in solar development worldwide and dynamic team and mindset shall deliver excellency and added-value to our customers," said Molinari.
