As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on over 300 days of dedication, innovation, and achievement. Throughout this year, DAS Solar has navigated the new cycles of the photovoltaic industry with resilience, ambition, and consistent progress. By embedding technological innovation into every step of our journey and advancing the exploration of “PV+” solutions, DAS Solar has shone brightly, painting a vibrant picture of growth and success.
Efficiency at Its Peak: Pushing Boundaries Beyond Limits
As a pioneer of N-type TOPCon technology, DAS Solar has continually set new records. In 2024, we advanced to the 4.5th generation of TOPCon technology, achieving a mass production efficiency of 26.7% and an open-circuit voltage of 742mV. These milestones affirm our leadership in technological innovation. With a clear pathway to 28% efficiency, we continue to set benchmarks in the solar sector. Additionally, our “one core, three branches” strategy, anchored by TOPCon, integrates advanced technologies like DBC, TSiP, and SFOS. These innovations have reached key milestones, paving the way toward a 40% efficiency target while offering versatile technical solutions to maximize product value across its life cycle.
Growth in Collaboration: Illuminating New Synergies
In 2024, DAS Solar deepened its long-term partnerships with industry leader. Together, we have achieved significant progress in project development, research, and business model innovation. With new subsidiaries in Germany, Japan, and Australia, we established localized service networks for sales, technical support, logistics, and after-sales. Partnering with renowned companies such as Energy 3000 Solar GmbH, Sonnenpark Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf, Raystech, Denkosha, and Seika Corporation, we have delivered landmark projects in Germany, France, Poland, the Netherlands, and Greece, further cementing our international presence.
Exploring Niche Markets: Innovating Across Diverse Scenarios
Meanwhile, as land resources become increasingly scarce, diversified “PV+” solutions have emerged as critical to the industry's future. DAS Solar seized this opportunity by pioneering ecological, urban, and aquatic photovoltaic applications, breaking traditional barriers. In mountainous and desert regions, our flexible mounting systems, featuring large spans, high clearance, and superior reliability, adapt to complex terrains while ensuring construction efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Hainan Ding'an project demonstrated this reliability, withstanding Typhoon Talim, Typhoon Koinu, and even the Category 17 Typhoon Saola in September. Offshore, our floating photovoltaic systems in Shandong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Guangdong are operational, excelling in harsh marine environments while contributing to renewable energy and marine ecological restoration.
