AESOLAR, in collaboration with GOODWE, successfully concluded the “Empowering Solar Solutions” roadshow in Hanoi, bringing together Vietnam’s solar industry leaders, EPCs, installers, and partners for an afternoon filled with technical insights, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in the heart of Hanoi, the event welcomed over 100 participants from across the Vietnamese solar value chain. The program featured keynote speeches, localized solution showcases, panel discussions, and meaningful exchanges about Vietnam’s solar future.
The event was opened by Mr. Joseph Tomkiewicz, International Energy Advisor of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), who emphasized the strength of German-Vietnamese cooperation in clean energy and the shared journey toward net-zero goals.
Dr. Alexander Maier, CEO of AESOLAR, shared the founding story of the company and how, over 22 years, AESOLAR has grown from a small German manufacturer into a globally recognized Tier 1 brand present in over 100 countries. "Strong partnerships are the foundation of every energy transition," he said, underlining AESOLAR’s commitment to being a long-term player in Southeast Asia.
Dr. Hamed Hanifi, AESOLAR’s Director of Technology and Innovation, delivered an in-depth presentation of AESOLAR’s product strategy tailored for Vietnam and the broader APAC region. With Vietnam’s high solar irradiation and humidity, Dr. Hamed introduced products like the CME132BDS N type module with up to 725W power output, highlighting its durability and temperature coefficient performance.
He also introduced award-winning technologies such as the Terra E agri-PV series with 40% transparency and the Horizon carport module with German DIBt certification—both engineered for complex urban and agricultural integration.
A highlight of the day was the Panel Discussion, where AESOLAR experts and regional thought leaders explored Vietnam’s energy transition, clean energy investment climate, and technological innovation pathways. The role of emerging technologies such as BIPV, floating solar, and AI in expanding solar deployment. The session concluded with a consensus on the importance of deeper collaboration between the public and private sectors to accelerate the nation’s green goals.
AESOLAR signed two significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 2 key partners, reflect the strong confidence in AESOLAR’s German-quality solutions and its readiness to scale sustainable energy deployments in Vietnam.
From the technical exchanges to the prize-filled quiz interaction, the Empowering solar solutions roadshow created not only a platform for knowledge but also deepened trust and collaboration across the solar ecosystem.
