Huasun Energy has won the solar module supply contract for China Huadian Corporation’s 350 MW photovoltaic project in Binzhou, Shandong Province, East China, strengthening its leadership in heterojunction (HJT) technology and its track record with China’s state-owned energy enterprises.
The project, as an important part of Shandong Province’s coastal wind-solar-storage-transmission initiative, will deploy n-type bifacial glass-glass HJT solar modules across more than 530 hectares of saline-alkali land. According to the tender requirements, the modules must deliver front-side efficiency of ≥22.6%, rear-side power output of no less than 65% of the front side, and at least 715 W power output. Huasun’s products exceed these standards, achieving near-100% bifaciality and ultra-high output to ensure stable performance in challenging coastal conditions.
The project will combine solar power generation with aquaculture, using water surfaces for photovoltaic installations while supporting fish farming below. This dual-use model improves land efficiency, boosts local aquaculture, and advances regional clean energy development, contributing to a more balanced energy mix and faster low-carbon transition.
With a fully integrated supply chain and reliable delivery capability, Huasun has become a trusted partner to leading Chinese state-owned energy groups including China Datang, China Green Development Group, PowerChina, and China Huaneng, supplying high-efficiency HJT modules to landmark projects nationwide.
