In the industrial hub of Concorezzo near Milan, Electraline 3p Mark Spa has taken a decisive step toward cleaner energy and operational efficiency. With the support of distributor Amara NZero and installer Element Energia Srl, the electrotechnical company expanded its rooftop capacity with a 143.65 kWp solar installation using AIKO COMET 650Wp modules. The project combines architectural sensitivity, reliable technology, and long-term value—an investment that goes far beyond aesthetics.
A Smarter Second Act
This was not a replacement of the old facility but the addition of a second PV system on another building within the site. The existing incentive-backed installation continues to operate separately with its own inverter, while the new 143.65 kWp system was designed as an independent expansion.

Electraline 3p Mark Spa, saw solar as a natural progression in its commitment to high-quality, future-oriented infrastructure. The company consumes approximately 245 MWh of electricity annually and expects to meet 70% of that demand with onsite solar generation—at a local electricity cost averaging €160/MWh.
Technology That Fits the Challenge
Electraline 3p Mark Spa’s rooftop, shaped by curved surfaces, perimeter walls and shading obstacles, demanded a module that could perform under less-than-ideal conditions. AIKO’s COMET series, equipped with N-Type ABC technology, proved a strong match. The modules’ high efficiency helped overcome area limitations and mounting complexity. Meanwhile, the partial shading optimization feature ensured steady output even in shaded conditions—a crucial benefit on a segmented roof like Electraline 3p Mark Spa’s. Early results suggest the modules are performing well, delivering stable generation even when shading occurs.

Compared to traditional TOPCon modules in a similar setup, the new system delivered clear gains:
+19.71% higher installed capacity using just 50% of the available area (143.65 kWp ABC vs. 120 kWp TOPCon)
+601,656 kWh in additional energy generation over 30 years
5% shorter payback period, with breakeven expected in about 4 years
Beyond the ABC vs. TOPCon performance gains, the system is also expected to deliver approximately €225,000 in energy cost savings over the first decade of operation, based on local electricity prices and self-consumption levels.
