Trinasolar has once again achieved a 100% bankability rating in BloombergNEF’s (BNEF) PV Module and Inverter Bankability 2025, marking the eighth time it has earned unanimous recognition from all respondents and reinforcing Trinasolar’s global leadership. In the same survey, TOPCon emerged as the only technology that all participants considered bankable, confirming its place as the single mainstream technology in today’s market.
“We’re honored Trinasolar has once again earned the top spot in this bankability ranking and is the only PV manufacturer to achieve 100% bankability eight times,” said Ni Lili, President of Trinasolar’s Solar Product Division. “This reflects sustained confidence from global financial institutions and industry stakeholders in our long-term reliability, cutting-edge technology, and transparent, traceable supply chain.”
BNEF’s annual bankability survey, a key reference for solar investment decisions, gathers insights from technical advisers, independent power producers, and solar engineering contractors. This year, the survey evaluated 68 module brands, involving projects approximately 1.34 TW of financed solar capacity.
Accoring to BNEF’s report, nearly all applicable participants in the bankability survey purchased modules with TOPCon cells and all participants consider TOPCon cells to be bankable. BNEF also expects TOPCon cells to remain the main cell technology through 2028.
As an early mover of TOPCon technology, Trinasolar continues to advance high-efficiency n-type solutions. Its Vertex Series modules, powered by i-TOPCon Ultra technology, have been widely used across utility, commercial and industrial and residential projects, delivering high energy yield and long-term operational stability.
BNEF also highlights that supply chain traceability expands in importance and scope. Trinasolar is the first in the industry to achieve AA rating for PV supply chain traceability covering all stages from polysilicon to modules from TÜV Rheinland, the highest possible rating, demonstrating its outstanding supply chain management capabilities.
In addition, Trinasolar remains a consistent presence on BNEF’s Tier 1 module manufacturer list and has maintained a Tier 1 ranking in energy storage for nine consecutive quarters, further reinforcing its reputation as a reliable, technologically advanced PV and energy storage solutions provider.
