TrinaTracker has signed an agreement with Spanish EPC to supply 360 MW of solar tracking systems for two photovoltaic projects located in Spain. The projects will deploy approximately 11,000 Vanguard 1P single-axis trackers.

This agreement further strengthens TrinaTracker’s position in Spain, one of Europe’s most established and competitive solar markets, and reinforces its ongoing activity across the region.

During the development phase, the projects presented complex geotechnical conditions and specific construction planning considerations. Given the heterogeneous soil profiles, TrinaTracker’s global engineering team worked in close coordination with the EPC’s engineering department to review geotechnical studies and POT test results in detail.

Through this collaborative process, pile lengths and typologies were optimized, and areas for direct ramming and pre-drilling were carefully defined. The joint technical assessment ensured structural stability while aligning construction methodology with site-specific conditions.

Earthwork optimization was also an important focus. By refining the structural configuration and enhancing system adjustability, the tracking solution is designed to accommodate terrain variations, reducing the need for additional ground intervention.

During execution, TrinaTracker’s local team will coordinate testing activities and provide on-site technical support within tight timelines, working alongside the EPC’s technical teams to ensure smooth project progression.

Gonzalo Baselga, Head of Europe at TrinaTracker, commented:

“Spain is one of the most technically demanding and competitive solar markets in Europe. This collaboration reflects the combination of our global engineering capabilities and the close support provided by our local teams. Detailed site analysis, tailored structural design, and responsive field support have been essential to advancing these projects in a reliable and efficient manner.”

By aligning its global technology platform with a localized service structure, TrinaTracker continues to deliver solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each project, supporting the ongoing growth of solar energy in Spain and across Europe.
