All product categories of the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw price declines in Calendar Week 20 – the first week with declines across the board in Calendar Year 2025.
Mirroring CW19, granular silicon prices fell another 2.7% WoW in CW20.
While not to the same degree as CW19, all 3 n-type wafers again saw declines this week – 3.7% for n-type 210 mm, 3.9% for n-type 182 mm, and 4.3% for n-type 210R.
PERC bifacial 182 mm cells declined 1.8%, while TOPCon 182 mm and TOPCon bifacial 210R cell prices declined an identical 1.1% in CW20
Prices for the 2 TOPCon module declined 2.8% (182 mm) and 2.9% (210 mm) in CW20, while the BC module types were down 6.0% (655W+) and 5.0% (655W+ 210R) WoW.
Solar glass prices declined 2.1% for both listed variants.
As of CW20, only 3 of the 25 products listed on the TaiyangNews PV Price Index are in the green YtD, signifying a clear reversal of the positive trend since the start of CY2025.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
