The declining trend continues for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with all categories except solar glass experiencing declines in Calendar Week 22.
Chinese n-type silicon followed up its 2.5% decline last week with another fall of 5.2% in CW22, while the other silicon types maintained their prices WoW.
N-Type 210R wafer prices saw a 0.9% decline in CW22, the same as last week.
TOPCon 182 mm and TOPCon bifacial 210R cell prices continue their declining trend, down 1.9% and 3.6% WoW, respectively.
TOPCon bifacial 182 mm and 210 mm modules declined an identical 0.7% WoW in CW22.
After a couple of down weeks, the 2 solar glass variants maintained their prices WoW.
The downtrend that started a few weeks ago persists, as most n-type products continue to experience declines. As of CW22, only 3 of the 25 products listed on the TaiyangNews PV Price Index are in the green YtD, signifying a clear reversal of the positive trend seen since the start of CY2025.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
