Following 2 weeks of some upward movement, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw no WoW price changes during Calendar Week 3 of 2025
The n-type and granular silicon variants are up 3.7% and 5.4% YtD, as the remaining polysilicon products maintain their prices.
The 3 n-type wafers are up in the range of 6.4% (n-type 210R) to 9.3% (n-type 182 mm) in the first 3 weeks of 2025.
The 1.8% increase for the n-type 182 mm cell last week is the only change in this category since the start of CY2025.
Module products continued to maintain their prices in CW3.
Solar glass varieties maintained their prices WoW in CW3, after seeing a sharp drop in the last week of CY2024.
While the first 2 weeks of CY2025 were largely positive for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, CW3 saw no price movements WoW. In general, products upstream have seen some upward movement while the downstream has been more or less stagnant.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
