Calendar Week 38 was slightly mixed for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with a few upstream gains partly offset by small declines in module products.
Polysilicon prices were flat week-on-week (WoW).
Among wafers, n-type 182 mm and 210 mm rose 3.8% and 3.0% WoW, while the 210R remained flat.
All 3 TOPCon cells increased WoW: 182 mm by 3.3%, 210 mm by 3.4%, and 210R by 0.3%.
In the module category, China Project Price (≥595W) fell 1.4% WoW, and ≥615W was down 0.7%.
Both solar glass types were unchanged, with the 2 mm variant holding at RMB 14/m² since rebounding to its CW25 level in CW35.
Overall, barring the slight declines in modules, CW38 was mostly positive for the PV Price Index. Year-to-date (YtD), excluding discontinued products, all but 3 tracked products are flat to up. The polysilicon category remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 32.4% YtD.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
