Calendar Week 39, like CW38, was mixed for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with a few upstream gains offset by module declines.
n-Type Chinese silicon rose 1.0% week-on-week (WoW), while granular silicon gained 2.0%.
Wafers were flat WoW.
Among cells, the TOPCon bifacial 182 mm was the lone gainer in the category, up 3.2%, while the others held steady.
In the module category, 4 products declined WoW: TOPCon bifacial 182 mm down 1.4%, 210 mm down 0.7%, China Project Price (≥595W) down 2.9%, and ≥615W down 0.7%.
Both solar glass types remained steady, with the 2 mm variant holding at RMB 14/m² since rebounding to its CW25 level in CW35.
Overall, CW39 was a mixed week for the PV Price Index. Year-to-date (YtD), excluding discontinued products, all but 4 tracked products are flat to up. Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD.
