The TaiyangNews PV Price Index was mostly stable, barring the declines in the cell category, in Calendar Week 47.
The polysilicon category remained flat week-on-week (WoW).
While stable WoW, the 3 n-type wafers are down 2.2% to 4.8% month-on-month (MoM).
Cells are the only category to see any changes this week, down 0.6% to 0.7% WoW.
Module prices remained stable WoW.
The 2 solar glass types have maintained their prices since CW35.
Overall, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index remains on its mostly positive trajectory in Calendar Year 2025. Excluding discontinued products (namely PERC), all but 7 tracked products are flat to up year-to-date (YtD). Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
