Calendar Week 11 brings across-the-board declines for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index.
The polysilicon category saw its second set of Week-on-Week (WoW) declines this year, ranging from 1.2% (Reusable Chinese 9N) to 9.4% (n-Type Silicon in China).
Declines in the wafers category ranged from 3.7% (n-type 210 mm) to 4.8% (n-type 182 mm).
Prices in the cell category followed the trend in wafers, declining by 2.4% to 5.2%.
While TOPCon modules declined low-single-digits, HJT and BC modules were flat WoW. China Project Prices for ≥595W and ≥615W modules continued to decline, down in the mid-single digits.
Solar glass variants saw their first declines in CY2026, having remained unchanged since CW49 of 2025.
The declining trend seen over the last 2 weeks continued into CW11, this time across the board. Polysilicon, wafers, and solar glass are all negative YtD, while cells and modules remain well in the positive territory.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
