The TaiyangNews PV Price Index recorded its second consecutive week of decline of the year in Calendar Week 4, although limited to one product category.
The polysilicon category remains unchanged, as has been the case since CW41 2025.
All 3 n-type wafers experienced price declines, with n-type 210 mm and 210R prices down 1.3% and 1.5%, respectively, while the 182 mm variant declined 4.0% week-on-week (WoW).
Prices in the cell category remained unchanged WoW, following a 6.1% increase across the board in CW4.
Like cells, prices in the module category also remained stable WoW.
Prices for the 2 solar glass variants remained unchanged WoW.
While one product category experienced declines in Calendar Week 5, the remaining categories were flat WoW. With these declines, the cell category has entered negative territory YtD, while products downstream remain firmly positive.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
