Following the break for Chinese New Year, preceded by 3 consecutive weeks of declines, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index returns on a positive note in Calendar Week 8.
The polysilicon category remains unchanged, as has been the case since CW41 2025.
Prices in the wafer category were flat, after seeing declines of 5.4-6.3% in CW6.
Like wafers, prices in the cell category remained unchanged, but are up 14.5% to 17.6% YtD.
The module category accounted for all the price increases in CW8, with 8 products up in the range of 3.8%-10.3%.
Prices for the 2 solar glass variants have remained unchanged since CW49 of 2025.
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index returns on a positive note following the Chinese New Year, with modules logging all the increases this week. Year-to-date, the cell category is still firmly in negative territory, while products downstream remain positive.
