Antaisolar recently introduced its ALTRA rooftop mounting solution during a live TaiyangNews LinkedIn launch event
The solution supports multiple rooftop applications, including tile, metal, flat, and balcony systems
The company also introduced SnapFit technology as a prefabricated modular approach to simplify and speed up solar installations
Chinese solar mounting solutions provider Antaisolar recently introduced its new ‘We Cover’ Solar Roof One-stop Solution for rooftop mounting for distributed applications, during a live launch event streamed on the TaiyangNews LinkedIn channel. The company said the product platform is designed to make rooftop solar installations faster, simpler, and more adaptable across global markets.
Unveiling its ALTRA series, Antaisolar said it has been developed to tackle the complexities of varying rooftop structures, local installation practices, and engineering standards worldwide.
The ALTRA range is built around 3 key pillars – compatibility, simplified installation, and long-term reliability. It covers 4 rooftop applications: tile, metal, flat, and balconies. Antaisolar said the product is available in 3 performance categories – PRO, BASE, and LITE – tailored to different project needs and regional conditions.
These designs offer solutions that avoid drilling or welding while protecting roof integrity. Additionally, the flat roof solutions are engineered to comply with international standards such as Eurocode, while the balcony version supports railing, wall-mounted, and ground-mounted configurations.
The company also presented its SnapFit technology. Farhan Yazid, Production Manager at Antaisolar, described SnapFit as a factory-prefabricated, ready-to-use solution designed to transform rooftop solar installation into a simplified modular process. In other words, Antaisolar says this technology is intended to reduce installation time, streamline logistics, and simplify inventory management.
According to the company, “SnapFit simplifies installation into just three simple actions: place, rotate, and snap. No complex tools are required, reducing on-site steps and boosting installation efficiency by up to 50%.”
Yazid added that the company leverages its expertise across the core PV mounting systems industrial chain, supported by 15 GW of manufacturing capacity for both aluminum and carbon steel products at its new 160,000 m² industrial park. The factory features 3 core workshops: Extrusion & Oxidation for aluminum forming and surface treatment, Precision Machining for high-accuracy cutting and forming, and Carbon Steel for high-strength profiles.
During the launch, Lloyd Lee, Vice President of Antaisolar, said the company developed the solution after identifying recurring challenges in rooftop solar projects worldwide, including complex design processes, installation inefficiencies, and inconsistent project delivery.
According to Lee, the ALTRA system combines rooftop-mounting hardware with an intelligent online design platform that automates layout planning and enables rapid project configuration. He said the platform reduces the installation workflow to 5 steps and enables even non-professional users to complete layouts with minimal training.
He added that the platform supports AI-assisted satellite positioning for roof design and produces compatible valve files and documentation formats for international markets.
The company also introduced the SolarAID intelligent roof design platform to help integrate roof mapping, smart layout, and 1-click quotation.
Antaisolar said the solutions are already being deployed in Europe and other international markets.
