Austrian integrated energy system and high-end heat pump maker M-TEC GmbH has expanded its 'ENERGY-BUTLER' series energy storage models with the launch of a new model targeting smaller households and small roofs. The new model with 7.7 kWh capacity and in-built hybrid PV inverter inherits the features of its larger counterparts of the 'ENERGY-BUTLER' series.
These features can be categorized into safety & protection, expandability & flexibility, and adaptability. The new model's integrated emergency power backup feature is activated in the event of grid power failure and its island-compatible feature acts as an off-grid backup power source to the load, elaborates M-TEC.
Though the 7.7 kWh energy storage system comes with 2 storage modules, its stackable modular storage design offers scalability from 2 storage modules to 8 storage modules, resulting in a 30.7 kWh storage capacity. Alongside the capacity addition, the company ensures the long-term performance of its storage system with 10,000 guaranteed charging cycle batteries.
The 'ENERGY-BUTLER' series also promises adaptability with different E-Smart devices like the new external 'ENERGY-WIZARD' PV inverter, 'ENERGY-CHARGER' charging station, and 'ENERGY-HERO' energy management system. The low-noise 'ENERGY WIZARD' PV string inverter with 3 MPPT channels will offer a wide range of power — 3.6 kW to 25 kW — at the end of 2024.
Its latest 'ENERGY-CHARGER' charging station, which will be available at the end of 2024, will offer an 11 kW charging capacity for single-phase residential applications, and 22 kW for a three-phase commercial charging application, according to the company. M-TEC says the compatibility between 'Energy-Butler' inverter and the latest 'ENERGY HERO' energy management system promises the use of low-cost variable electricity tariffs to fill their storage systems, heat their water, or charge their electric cars.
M-TEC's CTO and co-owner, Peter Huemer said, "Because our products can be networked with each other very easily and quickly, our specialist partners can offer their customers comprehensive solutions from a single source, thereby strengthening customer loyalty and opening up new business areas."
M-TEC will be at the upcoming international solar energy trade fair, Intersolar Europe 2024, in Munich from June 19 to 21. Visitors can find M-TEC's latest products in booth no. B5.450, under hall no. B5.
