The ChargePost by Germany's ADS-TEC Energy GmbH is an innovative and compact charging station designed for EV charging. With a footprint of less than 2 m2, the product packs a powerful punch and is easy to install and maintain.
At its core, the ChargePost comprises a backup battery boasting a minimum capacity of 200 kWh, power electronics, a reliable cooling system, and 1 or 2 charging points, providing a combined output of 300 kW. Additionally, the station features 2 optional 75-inch displays, presenting a unique opportunity for advertisements and generating additional income. One of ChargePost's standout features is the integrated battery buffer, which allows it to provide charging even if the power grid is not able to provide the desired power. Moreover, ChargePost's versatility extends beyond charging electric cars. It can also be effectively employed as a storage device in photovoltaic systems. ChargePost is a scalable solution that can be easily expanded to meet the needs of different applications. It was also selected as a finalist for the Power2Drive AWARD.
In addition, ADS-TEC is also promoting a battery buffered fast charging solution called ChargeBox. Capable of delivering up to 320 kW, its compact design and diverse placement options allow up to 300 meters between the grid connection and the charging point, making it adaptable to various infrastructures.
