Chinese solar module manufacturer DAH Solar has expanded its full-screen module series with the launch of its latest frameless double-glass PV modules using TOPCon cell technology. Calling this patented frameless technology "Full-Screen," DAH says this marks the launch of "Full-Screen Era 3.0."

DAH claims to be the 1st company to have double-glass PV modules in the industry with no frames on all 4 sides on the front. These also incorporate anti-dust properties to prevent sand accumulation. The 'unique' frame-less design ensures that the modules can be installed both vertically & horizontally, it explains. Vertical installation prevents snow accumulation on the module in extreme application environments like mountainous areas.

The modules use the company's latest TOPCon cell for which it recently claimed 26.50% average mass production efficiency. DAH uses high-blocking encapsulant for its latest offering along with the latest laser-enhanced contact optimization (LECO) metallization technology. "Full-Screen Double-Glass PV Modules have a remarkably high bifaciality rate of 85% for higher power generation. These latest features ensure an annual average power generation increase of 6% to 15%," reads the company statement.
