Deye New Energy, founded in 2007 and based out of Zhejiang, China, is dedicated to delivering reliable inverter solutions for residential and commercial PV power stations and energy storage systems. The company’s booth at SNEC 2025 in Shanghai featured a wide range of its latest hybrid and storage inverters, along with string inverters, targeting C&I and utility applications.

C&I Product

At the event, Deye showcased its flagship product – the 100 kW-2.5 MW C&I ESS solution. This product features a battery cluster module, power conversion system (PCS), Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) module, and Static Transfer Switch (STS) module. The battery module is equipped with BOS-B series battery units. Each battery unit, with 280 Ah capacity and a terminal voltage of 51.2 V, boasts a maximum energy storage capacity of 14.3 kWh. According to the datasheet, 15 such battery units can be connected in series to offer a system voltage and cumulative storage capacity of up to 768 V and 214.5 kWh. This upscaled storage solution can absorb or deliver DC of up to 168 A.

This storage system is integrated with its MPPT module – SUN-MPPT-L01-EU-AM8. It is designed to accommodate up to 8 MPPT channels, each with a voltage range of 180 V to 850 V. Each channel can carry DC not exceeding 40 A from the connected PV array.

This system is further integrated with a power conversion system (PCS). According to the company’s website, this compact system can be paired with either SUN-100K-PCSL01HP3 or SUN-125K-PCSL01HP3. The former model, compatible with a battery bank, with a terminal voltage range of 630 V to 1,000 V, can deliver a maximum charging or discharging current of 175 A, while the latter offers up to 220 A DC.  SUN-100K-PCSL01HP3 can deliver up to 100 kW AC power output, and SUN-125K-PCSL01HP3 is rated for up to 125 kW AC, which makes both the variants suitable for C&I applications.

During any grid failure or shutdown, both the above-mentioned model’s  integrated STS module (SUN-STS500L), can switch the whole system to emergency backup mode within 20 ms. It has a rated continuous backup power delivery capacity of 500 kW and up to 725 A load carrying capacity.

In terms of scalability, up to 16 of these 215 kWh battery clusters can be connected in parallel per PCS, supporting a maximum backup of 32 hours.
