DMEGC Debuts At RE+ 2024 With Duty-Free Products

Chinese Company Promotes Made-In-Indonesia Infinity Series Modules For The US Market

DMEGC Solar, a Chinese solar cell and module manufacturer, debuted at the recently concluded RE+ 2024 event in the US with its latest duty-free product portfolio. The company mainly promoted its latest Infinity series modules at the show.

Beyond the technical attributes, the product's USP is that it is made in Indonesia, a Southeast Asian country still out of the purview of the US’ non-tariff trade barrier and anti-dumping & countervailing duties (AD/CVD). DMEGC’s new factory in Indonesia has both cell and module manufacturing capacity. DMEGC's global sales director Leon Lu believes the company can offer cost-effective quality products to US customers with Indonesia as a strategic manufacturing location. With its maiden participation at the show, the company hopes these modules will help it gain a strong foothold in the US local market.

Under the Infinity brand, DMEGC promoted its DM600M10T-B72HSW and DM720G12T-B66HSW series bifacial models at the show. The DM600M10T-B72HSW model, equipped with 144-half-cell matrix of M10 size TOPCon cells, boasts a power output of up to 600 W and an efficiency of up to 23.2%. This bifacial module, with dimensions of 2,278 x 1,134 x 30 mm, weighs up to 31.8 kg. The DM720G12T-B66HSW bifacial module, the larger variant featuring 132 pieces of G12 size in a half-cell layout, delivers a power output of up to 720 W and an efficiency of up to 23.2%, reported the company. This higher power model, with dimensions of 2,384 x 1,303 x 30 mm, is promoted for the US utility market.

The company also promoted the G12R rectangular cell-based DM635G12RT-B66HSW model under its Infinity RT brand. Consisting of 132 (6 x 22) pieces of G12R size in a half-cell matrix, this module delivers a power output of up to 635 W and an efficiency of up to 23.5%. According to the company datasheet, this model offers 6 different power classes ranging between 610 W and 635 W. It incorporates 16BB TOPCon cells and is protected with 2 mm thick heat-treated glass on both surfaces in a module dimension of 2,382 x 1,134 x 30 mm, added DMEGC. The module has a temperature coefficient of -0.29%/℃. DMEGC said the module has been tested with a front mechanical load of up to 5,400 Pa, simulating maximum snow load and up to 2,400 Pa rear side wind load bearing capacity. The company offers 15 years of product and 30 years of performance warranty for all these modules.
