  • Dyness’s DH800Y Series liquid-cooled modular ESS solution can store up to 836 kWh of energy

  • This system can be upscaled to up to 4.2 MW of AC power and a DC storage capacity of up to 16 MWh

  • The company also showcased its recently launched DH2150Y-BC series truck-mounted mobile storage & charging system

With changing consumer demands for an uninterrupted and cost-effective power supply, for C&I and utility-scale applications, the market is experiencing growth in megawatt-scale (MW) energy storage systems (ESS). Compatible with multiple energy sources, including PV, AC-grid, or diesel generator (DG), these systems have a wide spectrum of application scenarios.

Dyness, a Chinese ESS provider, showcased its latest MW-scale liquid-cooled storage and charging solutions for both fixed and mobile applications during the SNEC 2025 exhibition.

DH800Y Series Modular ESS

The product, available in 2 variants, namelyDH800Y-2H and DH800Y-4H – this product, equipped with a 314 Ah capacity battery pack and having a configuration of 1P416S × 2, can store energy not exceeding 836 kWh. With a battery voltage ranging from 1,164 V to 1,497 V, this ESS unit can absorb or discharge up to 157 A of continuous DC, which is subsequently converted to 690 V AC 3-phase power, making it suitable for C&I high-load usage. According to the company’s datasheet, the DH800Y-2H model, with a rated maximum current capacity of 360 A, can deliver up to 420 kW output power, while the DH800Y-4H variant boasts 210 kW AC output power with a maximum rated current of 180 A, both offering up to 90% efficiency. The company says these 2 models empower consumers with multiple choices, according to their demand. Thanks to its modular design, this system can be upscaled to up to 4.2 MW of AC power and a DC storage capacity of up to 16 MWh, following parallel configuration of a maximum of 10 and 20 units of DH800Y-2H and DH800Y-4H, respectively.

Mitigating potential risks under hazardous C&I application scenarios, this liquid-cooling solution, offering an operational noise level below 75 dB, is engineered with multiple integrated safety and protection features. Importantly, its aerosol-based fire protection system features a water fire and ingress system combined with an audible and visual alarm functionality, says the company's datasheet.

Integrated Storage & Charging Ecosystem

On 12th June, the company unveiled its new StorCharge-4C series fixed-position MW-level power charging system. Compatible with DC-coupled configurations, this liquid-cooled storage product supports pairing with multiple charging configurations, including solar.

Alongside the fixed installed storage & charging system, the company launched its truck-mounted mobile storage & charging platform – DH2150Y-BC – featuring up to 2.15 MWh of energy storage capacity. It also integrates a 1 MW PCS inside the model. According to the company, this mobile storage and charging solution can be used in emergency response in multiple sites, eliminating any need of extra additional infrastructure or grid upgradation.
