GCL Energy Storage showcased its containerised G-POWER Max 6.25 MWh ESS solution, targeting utility applications
It also displayed its latest G-Power Core 261 series C&I energy storage cabinet at the event
Both solutions incorporate a dual-channel liquid cooling architecture, along with a 3-level fire protection system
In line with the rising demand for PV + energy storage solutions from diverse application scenarios in China, GCL Energy Storage’s booth showcased the company’s flagship products at SNEC 2025. Among its main attractions were the new G-POWER Max 6.25 MWh container system for utility applications and the G-Power Core 261 commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage cabinet.
Equipped with 514 Ah battery cells, which are controlled by integrated battery management systems (BMS), this containerized system can store or absorb energy not exceeding 6.25 MWh. Empowered by the company’s latest G-INSIGHT intelligent operation strategy platform, featuring an AI algorithm combined with big data analysis, this MW-scale energy storage system (ESS) solution can support multiple grid functionalities, such as load forecasting, strategy optimization, and risk early warning. In terms of safety and protection from high operational temperatures stemming from the battery banks, this ESS has incorporated a dual-channel liquid cooling system. However, addressing the criticality of potential fire hazards from this containerized ESS product, the company adopted a 3-level fire warning system.
Alongside the utility-scale MW-scale ESS, the company stall featured its latest C&I scale G-Power Core 261 solution. Featuring a 135 kW rated converter, its integrated battery bank has an RTE rate of more than 90%. Its design combines PCS (Power Conversion System), EMS (Energy Management System), and BMS (Battery Management System) in a single platform, all cooled by a liquid-cooling mechanism. Regarding safety and protection in hazardous C&I environments, it incorporates individual battery cell-level AI monitoring, along with a 3-level fire protection system, the company added.
