T.Werk GmbH, a Bavarian PV mounting system manufacturer, is expanding its existing HELIOS alpha series carport system with more flexible and scalable HELIOS beta and HELIOS gamma series, which will be launched at the upcoming Intersolar Europe event. The new HELIOS beta series carport features central Y-support with a central rain gutter. The HELIOS gamma features one-sided support at the edge of the system. The company says these new arbitrarily scalable systems can be used as either pure carports or solar carports in commercial parking spaces with a PV mounting structure. Its existing carport model, HELIOS alpha, is based on W-shaped support, suitable for private and commercial carport applications.
In the retrofit project, the company offers a structure with an insert version in which glass-glass solar modules are used instead of trapezoidal sheet metal. Acknowledging the safety against car collisions during parking or opening of doors, T.Werk has designed new models with pillars in the parking and entrance areas.
With the efficient use of space and materials for the new models, supermarkets and other large commercial businesses can use sealed surfaces for vehicle roofing and generate energy simultaneously, especially if the side areas are built over with HELIOS gamma, it adds. T.Werk says it can also deliver the anodized and powder-coated system in a different color.
T.Werk is offering a 12-year product warranty for the new model with its 'extremely robust' hot-dip galvanized steel profile structure. With a maximum vehicle clearance height of 3 meters, the 10° inclined carports are suitable for all types of PV module sizes, T.Werk confirms. In the given context, the owner of T.Werk, Markus Ziegler said, "Our customers can expand the number of columns as they wish and design the individual parking spaces and their widths individually. With our new solutions we create maximum flexibility." Ziegler added, "In addition to high-quality products, we attach great importance to comprehensive customer service ."
Visitors will find the company at the Munich exhibition center in Hall A5, stand number 260, from June 19th to 21st.
