Grew Solar launched new TOPCon bifacial modules across residential, C&I, and utility segments at RE+ 2025
The all-black residential module offers 440 W power and 22.53% efficiency, while larger-format modules reach up to 635 W and 23.51%
The company is scaling its domestic manufacturing capacity and ensuring compliance with US supply chain regulations
Grew Solar, an India-based PV manufacturer, showcased its latest range of products at the RE+ event held in Las Vegas, USA. Founded in 2022, Grew Solar was awarded a grant under India’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, for a 2 GW integrated manufacturing facility spanning from silicon ingots to PV modules.
At the event, Grew Solar launched its all-black series modules targeting the residential market, alongside other modules based on M10 and G12 wafer formats. All these modules are based on TOPCon bifacial cells.
The all-black modules offer a maximum power of 440 W and a module efficiency of 22.53%. With dimensions of 1,722 x 1,134 mm, this module is based on the M10 wafer format and consists of 108 half-cut cells. The front cover glass is 3.2 mm thick, and on the rear side, there is a transparent backsheet with a black mesh. Additionally, the module uses a black aluminum frame, giving it an all-black appearance from the front side. This product is designed for the residential market.
The other 2 products with M10 and G12 wafer formats cater to the commercial & industrial (C&I) and utility markets, respectively. According to the company, the module based on square 182 mm (M10) wafers has a maximum module power of 590 W and 22.4% efficiency, while the one based on the 210 mm x 182 mm (G12R) wafer reaches a maximum module power of 635 W and 23.51%. Similar to mainstream TOPCon modules, Grew Solar’s products feature a 1% power degradation in the first year and retain 87.40% power at the end of 30 years. Both products have a glass-glass configuration with white mesh-patterned rear glass.
The company’s CEO and Director, Vinay Thadani, comments, “This launch marks our most significant step yet into the North American market. By combining Tier 1 efficiency with compliance assurance and BOS cost savings, we are delivering exactly what global developers need in today’s challenging project environment.”
Grew Solar states that it is expanding the manufacturing capacity at its 11 GW module and 8 GW cell factories in India and notes that its manufacturing is compliant with the United States’ Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA).
