The frameless, glass-free, flexible PV module was the highlight at HT-SAAE’s booth
This module can deliver a power output and efficiency of up to 460 W and 21.1%, respectively
Its unique flexibility allows it to bend and fold over the underlying roof without requiring any surface penetration
The TaiyangNews team, which was present at the recently concluded Intersolar Europe 2025, visited HT-SAAE’s booth. During this visit, the exhibitor, a Turkey-based PV module maker, highlighted its HT60-18X (NLm) flexible module from the Jupiter Flex series. The characteristics of this module can be classified into multiple key metrics: electrical performance, flexibility, and ease of installation.
Electrical Performance
The company says that the module, consisting of 120 M10-size half-cells, delivers a power output of up to 460 W and an efficiency of 21.1%. Designed for systems with a 1,500 V DC voltage, it features an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 41.63 V and a short-circuit current (Isc) of 14.04 A, making it well-suited for a variety of residential PV applications across Europe. Equipped with TOPCon cells, it is also said to maintain high energy yield under low-light conditions, including dawn, dusk, and overcast weather.
Flexibility
This module’s frameless, glass-free design, in a size of 1,927 × 1,131 × 3 mm, weighs only 6.3 kg, which is 70% lighter than traditional glass-based modules, says the company. In addition to its ultra-lightweight structure, the flexible design supports bending and folding, allowing it to conform to various rooftop applications and architectural forms.
Ease of Installation
The company states that the flexible design enables quick and easy installation across diverse roof types without the need for surface penetration. This not only reduces installation time and costs but also preserves the roof’s integrity, ensuring waterproofing and overall safety.
HT-SAAE offers a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year linear power output warranty for this module.
