HIUV, a leading supplier of encapsulation materials for module making, offers a variety of innovative products – EVA-S201W, EVA-S201MT2 (C), and Pure POE-P507 (M).
One of the most interesting products on display at Chinese solar trade fair SNEC was the light conversion film EVA-S201MT2 (C). This film is designed to convert UV light into other spectra, which is beneficial for cell architectures such as HJT that have poor UV response. The beauty of the concept is that the technology can be adapted to any polymer base material. While HIUV has already introduced such a product on a POE platform, the latest EVA-S201MT2 (C) is an EVA variant.
Another key product on display was White EVA No adhesives: S201W. This product is designed for the rear side encapsulation film of monofacial modules. The white EVA increases the light reflection from the cell gaps in a finished module, resulting in power gains from 1.5 W to 3.5 W in a 60-cell module. The benefit is even more prominent when using bifacial cells in monofacial modules. In fact, white EVA has nearly become a standard in monofacial module BOMs. HIUV's White EVA-S201W is free from layering, overflow, and bubbles, without affecting anti-aging properties.
The Pure POE-P507 (M) is designed for modules that require high barrier properties against water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) and PID resistance. This film supports bubble-free lamination, increasing the yield of the process.
In addition to these latest new launches, HIUV also promotes its other products that it has launched to respond to the changing market requirements, especially with regards to n-type cell technology. These include single-layer POE film, TOPCONspecific EXP film, improved EPE film, a co-extruded white POE efficiency-enhancing film for the rear side of TOPCon modules, a high anti-PID single-layer EVA film, and a HJT-specific light-converting film.
