Nextpower has expanded its European solar portfolio with the NX Gemini 2P tracker system.
The company has also introduced theNX Anchor integrated foundation system for its NX Horizon 1P tracker platform
Both the solutions are designed to address varying soil conditions, land-use requirements and agrivoltaic applications
Nextpower, a leading solar tracker manufacturer, has expanded its utility-scale solar product portfolio with the introduction of the NX Gemini two-in-portrait (2P) tracker system, and the NX Anchor integrated foundation solution. The new products are designed for projects facing varying site conditions, land-use constraints and evolving permitting requirements, according to the manufacturer.
The NX Gemini tracker builds on the company’s existing 2P tracking experience. The redesigned system incorporates updates to tracker controls and software architecture. It supports row-level control, network communications, weather-response functions and centralized site management. The platform is also compatible with the company’s TrueCapture advanced tracker control technology and NX Navigator monitoring software.
According to Nextpower, the tracker is intended for projects requiring high-density tracker layouts while maintaining compatibility with site-specific operating requirements. The system also supports agrivoltaic operating modes designed for dual-use agricultural and solar installations.
Alongside the tracker, Nextpower introduced NX Anchor, an integrated foundation solution for its NX Horizon single-axis tracker platform. The system offers multiple foundation options for different soil conditions, including soft, expansive, frost-prone and mixed soils. The company stated that all foundation types can be installed using standard construction equipment. NX Anchor is designed to support higher tracker clearances while reducing foundation requirements, it added. Compared with conventional H-pile foundations, the system can reduce embedment depth by up to 70% and shorten installation time by up to 20% (see Nextpower Highlights NX Horizon With Terrain-Adaptive Design).
Nextpower maintained its position as the world’s largest solar tracker supplier in 2025, shipping nearly 40 GW DC and capturing around 30% of the global market for the 11th consecutive year, according to Wood Mackenzie (see 2025 Global Solar Tracker Shipments Top 134 GW DC).
