Novasys Greenergy, an Indian PV module manufacturer, based out of Nagpur, Maharashtra, displayed its latest PV module product portfolio based on TOPCon and PERC cell technologies at the REI Expo 2024. With a current annual production capacity of 600 MW in Nagpur, the company is poised to expand up to 2 GW.
During an exclusive interview with TaiyangNews, the company’s founder, director, and CEO, Mr. Sunil Bansal highlighted the latest LYNX series bifacial TOPCon module among others at the show.
Bifacial TOPCon
The LYNX module features 156 pieces of TOPCon half-cells, generating a power output of up to 650 W with an efficiency of up to 23.05%. Without providing exact data, the company says that the module offers a low-temperature coefficient and minimum LID.
PERC Module
The company also exhibited its commercially available PERC cell technology-based Rigel Plus and Alpha Plus series modules at the event. The Rigel Plus series bifacial model, assembled with 144 pieces of M10 size PERC half-cells, offers a maximum power output of 550 W and an efficiency of 21.28%. This model can deliver an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of up to 49.93 V and a short-circuit current of up to 13.97 A. The counterpart of the Rigel Plus model, the monofacial Alpha Plus series module, equipped with 144 pieces of M10-size PERC half-cells, boasts a power output of up to 550 W and an efficiency of up to 21.25%.
These PERC models are offered in 6 different power classes between 525 W and 550 W, added the company. Laminated with 3.2 mm thick ARC-coated solar glass and transparent PVDF backsheet, these 2,278 x 1,134 x 35 mm dimension modules weigh 29 kg.
