Shenzhen S.C lists 3 latest batch tools for saw damage etching and alkaline texturing
The SC-CSZJ14400G-12PLUS supports M10 to M12 wafers, processes up to 6 carriers per batch, and achieves throughputs of 15,120 wafers/hour for the M10 size and 12,600 for G12
The 20PLUS and 17G models achieve the same throughput but differ in length, measuring 33.17 m and 26.4 m, respectively
The latest TaiyangNews Market Survey on cell production equipment included a total of 12 tools from 4 suppliers for saw damage etching (SDE) and texturing.
Shenzhen S.C, a leading Chinese supplier of solar cell production equipment, has provided data for 3 batch tools for SDE and alkaline texturing. The latest of the 3, the SCCSZJ14400G-12PLUS, is a batch tool that supports M10 to M12 wafers with a thickness of 120 μm and processes up to 6 carriers per batch, each holding 100 G12 or 120 M10 wafers. Using KOH-based etching with additives at temperatures ranging from 25°C to 85°C, it achieves throughputs of 15,120 M10 wafers per hour or 12,600 G12 wafers, with a mechanical yield of ≥99%.
The SC-CSZ14400G-20PLUS and SC-CSZ14400F-17G, carried over from last year, utilize similar alkaline chemistry and batch configurations. They match the latest model’s throughput but differ mainly in size. the 20PLUS has a length of 33.17 m, while the 17G extends 26.4 m. By comparison, the newly added 12PLUS is the most compact at 24.8 m. All three tools share a common width of 2.8 m and a height of 2.5 m.
