Sineng Electric, a well-known Chinese supplier of PV inverters, energy storage solutions, and power quality products, showcased its wide range of hybrid inverters and power conversion systems (PCS) at SNEC 2025.

Residential All-In-One

Sineng’s latest residential all-in-one solution, which features 4 stacked battery units, each with a storage capacity of 6.4 kWh, boasts a cumulative storage capacity of 25.6 kWh. Atop the battery stack sits a 3-phase inverter, with a power capacity ranging from 5 kW to 15 kW. Each battery unit, equipped with LiFePO₄ cells, operates at a rated voltage of up to 400 V. Leveraging Sineng’s remote monitoring platform, users can track self-consumption as well as the charging and discharging cycles of the battery system. Faults or system issues can be analyzed remotely via a smartphone or laptop, enabling quick troubleshooting.

PCS (Power Conversion System)

The company showcased 2 new liquid-cooled string PCS models – 250 kW and 430 kW. The 250 kW model, designed for integration with battery containers, offers fast installation and commissioning. With a maximum efficiency of 99%, its liquid-cooling technology also helps reduce auxiliary power losses. Supporting cluster-level control, the PCS can improve battery utilization by up to 7%, according to company claims. According to the company, this model can offer multiple operational functionalities – VSG functionality, primary frequency regulation, and black start capability.

The 430 kW variant supports integration with battery containers of over 6.25 MWh capacity. In a turnkey configuration, the system includes an isolation transformer at the center, flanked by 16 string PCS units (each 430 kW), resulting in a total capacity of up to 12.5 MW.

In contrast, Sineng’s 1.725 MW central PCS, also on display, can be integrated into a 6.9 MW medium voltage (MV) turnkey solution. Housed in a container, it includes four 1.725 MW PCS units on each side, with an isolation transformer centrally positioned. The system's modular design allows for easy maintenance by enabling individual unit access.

Utility String Inverter

Along with PCS units, Sineng Electric showcased its latest 150 kW string inverter, suitable for C&I-scale applications. Designed for requisite DC/AC oversizing, this inverter can deliver up to 110% overload current. Concerning safety and protection in hazardous C&I environments, it has features like terminal temperature detection, smart switching, and AFCI.
