Solplanet, a Chinese solar inverter maker, showcased its latest portfolio of hybrid inverters, battery modules, and energy management system (EMS) at the Intersolar Europe 2024. Starting its first inverter manufacturing in 2009, the company currently has more than 20 GW annual production capacity.
Speaking to TaiyangNews, the company highlighted its latest 3-phase hybrid inverter models - ASW H-T2/T3, ASW 15-30 kW TH. Besides the newest hybrid inverter models, it also featured the latest energy management system (EMS) at its booth.
ASW H-T2/T3 Series 3-Phase hybrid inverter
The ASW H-T2/T3 3-phase hybrid inverter series is suitable for residential and small-scale commercial and industrial installations. The H-T3 series, equipped with 3 MPPT channels, offers flexible and higher kWp PV array designs with over 150% PV array oversizing, perfect for bifacial and large PV modules.
Moreover, the H-T2 series, featuring 2 MPPT channels, boasts a 20A maximum input per string. Both models offer output power capacity in the range of 5 kW to 12 kW, added the company. Solplanet emphasized that its latest energy management system (EMS) integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) technology can effortlessly manage battery functions in DOD, time of use, and power setting modes. The AI technology not only takes into consideration of PV installation, but also the consumption of different assets according to dynamic electricity prices, added the company.
The model can be switched to UPS mode under 10 milliseconds during any power outage. The company displayed its latest Ai-HB 075A-200A G2 series battery bank whose IP66-certified design ensures worry-free indoor or outdoor installation.
ASW 15-30 kW TH Series 3-Phase hybrid inverter with HV battery combiner box
This newest 3-phase hybrid inverter, featuring adaptability with HV battery combiner box, boasts a power output between 15 kW to 30 kW. It can be customized with multiple aesthetically pleasing colors. This model, equipped with 4 independent MPPT channels, can be connected with 4 sets of high voltage (HV) batteries in daisy chain configuration or parallel configuration of 4 sets of HV batteries. The company added that the hybrid inverter possesses features like integrated EMS and automatic UPS mode changeover. This model will be suitable for commercial and industrial (C&I) scale applications once these are commercially available.
