Leveraging SunPower’s expertise in BC technology, TCL SunPower Global showcases its latest SunPower M Class BC modules at the show
All the BC modules under SunPower M Class come with power and product warranty for up to 40 years
The company also highlighted its home energy storage solution, expandable up to 5 kWh
TCL SunPower Global, formed through the merger of TCL and SunPower, is showcasing its latest innovations – the SunPower M Class back-contact (BC) module series and a new residential storage solution – at booth A1.350 at Intersolar Europe 2025.
SunPower M Class Module
Building on SunPower’s 2 decades of experience in BC cell technology, the new M Class module series includes both monofacial and bifacial models designed for residential applications.
The monofacial variant, featuring shingled n-type BC cells, achieves a higher power output of up to 500 W and an efficiency of 25%. With dimensions of 1,134 × 1,762 × 30 mm, the module weighs just 20.6 kg and is well-suited for Europe’s residential rooftops.
The framed bifacial module, using the same technology as its monofacial counterpart, delivers a power output of 490 W and an efficiency of 24.5%. It maintains the same dimensions but is heavier at 24.2 kg and suitable for distributed generation (DG) scenarios.
Both models come with an industry-leading 40-year product and performance warranty.
Additionally, TCL SunPower showcased a BC module for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, offering up to 660 W of power and 24.4% efficiency.
SunPower Home Energy Storage Solution
To complement the BC module series, the company also presented its new home energy storage solution. Paired with a hybrid inverter (8–13 kW), the system can store up to 5 kWh of energy, offering greater flexibility and backup capabilities for residential users.
The newly unveiled products are expected to become available in select European markets in the second half of 2025.
