At the TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on Solar Cell Production Equipment & Processing Materials 2023, Wang Zhenhua, General Manager of HANS PV's Vacuum Coating Product Line, discussed the role of thermal processes and the use of laser technology in solar cell production. Known primarily for its laser technology, the Chinese company offers a wide range of other PV production tools as well – diffusion furnaces supporting boron as well as phosphorus diffusion, PECVD, LPCVD. In his overview talk on cell production equipment, Zhenhua presented also information on diffusion furnaces and PECVD tools of the company that feature active air cooling, which reduces the cooling rate and improve temperature uniformity.
